Security Lock for User Access

How to create a user Id that only can post and unpost the currently period transaction.

My purpose is to prevent user to access to previous month record and change the posted records. however, I still want or allow them to change or unpost the current records.

I try to use system - task - post (No Access) - This function only prevent user to add transaction for previous month. However, they still can unpost previous month record.

If I put unpost as No Access. they will be totally can unpost the posted transaction.

Anyone have any idea how to do it.

The kind of security that you seek is not available in PCW/PAW, it is however available in PCA due to the data storage method.

We are using Peachtree Complete Accounting Version 8.00 and also Peachtree 2003.

I am sorry if I was not clear, PCA is Peachtree Classic Accounting. The security you seek is not available in your product, it is all or nothing.
