I have several custom financial reports that I have been using for years now. These reports were made back in the v6.0 era and were converted up thru the 2003 version now. They always converted fine and worked the first time. After I did the 2003 conversion and ran the report, the report came up on the screen and then before it could completely finish, I got the Dr. Watson error and it shut Peachtree down. (I'm running NT 4.0 SP6). This also happens when I try to modify the report using design- it will not "save" without the Dr. Watson error.

How can I regain the use of my reports?

A few field names have changed which could possibly be your problem. For example Invoice No is now Invoice / CM# (or something of that nature).

Typically if a custom report gets corrupted for any reason your best bet is to delete the corrupted one and recreate it.

And the answer is......

The "Special Codes" in v2003 didn't agree withe the ones in v2002 --- There were caps in the new and not the old. I changed the special codes to the new ones and the report works fine now.
