Inventory Items-Inactive

I'm sure there's a very simple way to do this, but I'm having a brain fog. I have many inventory items that I would like to put on the inactive list. How do I inactivate series of them? For instance, I'd like to inactivate item AMX-001 through AMX-112. How could I do this?

Backup your data files before attempting the following. Export your Inventory Item List via FIle - Select for Import / Export, Inventory - Item List. Open your exported list using the likes of Excel and change the INACTIVE listing to read TRUE for all inactive items and then re-import the list.

Note - when exporting the above list, you can limit the selection to only a range of Items and a few columns ie. Item ID and Inactive. Change the status on Inactive and then import only the same two columns.

Again, create data file backups before attempting to import any changes.

I am trying to trade an item to another alt, receiving no items in return. He has enough space to accept the one item. I am at 38/35. When he tries to accept it says I dont have enough inventory space.

Is this the intended behavior?
