Quikie Question for Inventory Items

I have over 5000 items in my inventory and am using Excel to crunch the data and import into PT. I have many items that are sized by inches and feet and in the past have used quotation marks for indicators. Since I am crunching in Excel for my import, my question is: Can I use the quote marks for import or do they (") corupt my import?

After trying to export the template for excel, I was using quotation marks and corrupted my data. I removed the quote marks and the template is now correct.
