Change non-stock to stock item

IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHANGE A NON-STOCK ITEM TO A STOCK ITEM??? I AM USING PREMIUM 2008.:confused:

not directly. But you can chage the id on the non-stock item, then create a new id (using the old id which has been renamed) and at that point you ca save it as a stocked item. Any sales records will be attached to the old id.
