Change from Fiscal to calendar year end

I am using Complete Accounting 2009. I have read past postings about how to change from a fiscal to calendar year end. I am wondering if there are any updates with Complete Accounting 2009 that allows this change in year end without creating a new company. I have a short 5 month year ending 12/31/09 and then starting a 12 month year for 2010. I was hoping to keep the 17 monhts in one company for review purposes.

Peachtree does not provide any provisions for short years. Your choices are limited to starting a new company, exporting / importing your lists and new beginning balances. You could export all lists and transacactions and then import them into your new Company. This would require adjusting JE's to account for your previous tax year filings (financials) that were based on a different accounting year.
