Slow Printing in Peachtree

I just upraded our system and on one pentium 4 machine with a network printer, hp952, only in peachtree is the printing very very slow. all other programs print fast, including heavy graphics printing, and net printing. Peachtree seems to be very slow. I am running xp/professional on this machine, 256mb ram, 1.2 gb speed. network printer usb, using terminal server. all the older machines on the network attached to other network printers, and my fujitsu wide carriage on the network run fast. I have so far changed the driver from the xp952 to a 500 (at tech's suggestion, but to no avail) any suggestions????????

What version of Peachtree? Choose Help, about, and report the exact version number.

OK, you've got the latest patch for your version. After re-reading your initial post, I see that you mentioned Terminal Server...Peachtree's official line is that it doesn't support Terminal Server. Is there a reason that you're running it through Terminal Server?

Yes, using this computer off site so use terminal server to log on to the system at the office. All other functions of prog work fine, no slow down, no lock outs, no crash, all work fine. also when i print across the net to the office printer, it works fine and fast just as if it was a direct connection.

I think that's the source of your problem, then. As you see, Peachtree can work with Terminal Server, but it's not an ideal environment. Perhaps one of the other forum members will have a way that you can tweak the arrangement, but I think you're going to be restricted to the slow performance.
