Hello,
I am new to payroll by Peachtree. I have purchased the tax tables for this year, installed it, and ran a sample employee payroll check. SS and Medicare computations are correct but the state and federal W/H are way off. I have concidered the W/H allowance and that is not the problems. I would really really appreciate any help.
Thanks,

I had a similiar problem whose solution may apply to your situation. I assume that not only did you install the Tax Service, but registered it as well.
My problem was similiar in that all payroll calculations were correct except for Federal Withholding (FIT02).
After spending a good deal of time just to document what was working and what was not, Peachtree Support was able to provide a solution.
Apparently, the Tax table "mapping" had gotten corrupted. Even though the 2002 tax update was properly installed and registered, the program was pulling FIT 02 tax table information from a State table instead. This is a known error situation because they recognized my problem right away and told me what to do.
To fix problem, I went in to file, Payroll tax tables, edit Global.
I then selected the table that I was getting incorrect deductions for, the Federal (FIT 02). After selecting this table, I made no changes to it, I just clicked SAVE.
Now when I do payroll, all employee/employer deductions are correct.
Hope this information is helpful.
