When entering a salary or hourly rate in the employee maintenance, the 2 place automatic decimal does not work. Entering an hourly rate as 2500 shows as 2,500.00 per hour instead of 25.00.
ANOTHER "clinker" in 2010 is that the Enter key no longer functions as a tab key the way older versions did. Using the Enter key to tab thru to the hours on payroll entry results in the check being saved before you get to the hours field.
It's really annoying when you upgrade and the upgraded product doesn't perform basic functions that have always worked in the past.
I didn't notice these things until I had already converted my files. Now it's too late to go back because of the amount of info we have entered since upgrading.
I'm very disappointed in the 2010 upgrade. I would throw it out in a heartbeat if i could convert my files back to the 2009 version.
Anybody have a fix for these?
