DDE questoins and problems

I am writing a fairly simple application to POKE quotes into peachtree from an access database. I have two questions that ppl in this group may be able to answer: One- how can I poke the username and password through for a company and two- Does anyone know of a good vb .dll file to use? (I am currently just using a word dll).
