Purging - Account Reconciliation box

In past posts I have read I should say "no" to using account reconciliation during the purge process; I do reconcile a cash account, so I'm wondering what happens when you say "no"?

Nothing detrimental. Only transactions in closed years when applicable will have been removed. Make redundant backup prior to the Purge to give you confidence that you can undo the purge, however, it is will not be necessary to use them.
