Customer Index Corrupt

We switched to 2003 a few weeks ago and back up everyday. The conversion went with out a hitch and Verify Data is used every day sucessfully. When we run the integrity checker it reports that Customer Data could not be rebuilt and we have to load the backup. Im worried even though the program seems to work flawlessly that we have a serious problem. Repair Company finds the same error....HELP
