View Full Version : cannot connect to your Peachtree Company

I'm using Peachtree Quantum 2010 in multiuser environment. When I try to open Peachtree, it gives me a message, 'Cannot connect to your Peachtree company data".

No one else is having any problems accessing Peachtree. I am logging in as administrator on the main server which contains Peachtree. I have had no problems logging in in the past.

I believe the last time I logged in, I was using a different company than everyone else is using. I'm assuming that there must be a problem with that particular company.

Is there some way to force Peachtree to open a different company when it starts, or at least to bring me to the screen that allows selecting which company to open?

Typically when one cannot connect to a Peachtree company on the host or Server, the problem is related to a Firewall software on the local computer blocking the Pervasive database engine from communicating with it Gateway.

Yes, you can force Peachtree to open one of its sample company i.e. Bellwether, by adding a suffix to the command line. Right click on the Peachtree Icon and select PROPERTIES. Add a space and BCS following the end of the current Target line. Below is an example of such a change.

"C:\Program Files\Sage Software\Quantum10\peachw.exe" BCS
