Hello,
Our company is still using the above software for our shipping, invoicing, etc. I am the "IT" person such as I am. I've been telling them to get new computers, software, etc. since they rely on this program to get us through. We purchased the Peachtree legally and they paid an advisor a ton of money to set it up for us.
2 Questions.
1 - The computer it's running on is getting very old, and can't be backed up now. I tried to install 6.0 in a laptop with XP on it for a backup. The keycode prompt is 1972. I found one somewhere online (16813710369068086) but I get an error (wrong code) when I put it in. Does anyone know the proper one for 1972 and will 6.0 work properly on XP?
2 - If I get it installed and registered from the 6.0 disk, do I just get the files somehow from the PT2000 folder in the main computer and stick them in the laptop to bring us up to date on that computer ?
Thanks,
Nelson
p.s. how much is a recent version of Peachtree and would we have to pay an advisor another $30,000 to get us running on it?
