Closing Inventory & A/R Takes Hours!

It takes us 50 minutes to close A/R and 1 hour and 50 minutes to close Inventory. Is there anything we can do about this?

Not sure but do you save a lot of old data? Seems like whenever I close there is an option to enter how much of your old data is retained. In inventory if there are items that are no longer active those items can be deleted, and that might speed things up a bit.

Yes, we have deleted a ton of old inventory items and now the system is much faster!! Thank you so much for your help!

I forgot to mention that we also cleaned up the customer list, and A/R now closes much faster too!
