I am still using an old Version 8.0 copy, as it does all the things I need.
However I am having a problem with one GL account.
I was going back to reconcile some entries in the 2009-2010 accounting cycle and found that one of the GL account totals seemed short.
After looking at the GL report, it was obvious that entries dated after November 2009 began a new total Balance of ZERO in the account. ie: Balances were $100, $200, $300, then blank (zero) then the following entry restarted the balance from zero, and the balance was = to the Change in the Period, not the total running balance.
I even took a printout of the GL transactions, individually deleted the transactions AND the GL account to start over. When I restarted the data entry and checked the balance, it stopped increasing the balance, and restarted from zero at the same point in the data.
Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated.
