Sometimes when I'm creating new item codes for inventory items and press the 'Save' button, the 'Quantity On Hand' field and the 'Last Unit Cost' field are updated with random numeric figures.
No history of the items were ever recorded in Peachtree (using the sales or purchases modules).
This problem happens randomly; Sometimes when I press the save button for a new code, it would save correctly (no quantity or unit cost shows up), but lately, this problem is happening very often.
I've tried running integrity tests on the inventory file, changing back to period 1 to unpost and re-post all journal entries and using the repair feature on all .dat files but with no success.
I'm Using the 10-user Peachtree Complete Accounting ver 8.0.02.044
Any assistance will be greately appreciated.
