Can you "undo" an update?

I useComplete 2000 v.8.0, and recently got the footing error code. I went to Peachtree.com which said to install the update to v.8.02 and then run Integrity Check. I installed the update, but now PT now can't read the old data. Is there any way to undo an update, or obtain a copy of the original version that we were working in?

What do you mean it cannot read the old data? Do you get the correct update? Are you receiving error messages?

I agree with The Wolf, we need more info, The update in question is an update to the program files and should not affect data. Tell us exactly what is happening in your company since the update. The more detail the better.
