Payroll Problem Generation advanced No Eligible Employees

While doing payroll, we forgot to run the Pre-Check Register. Emplyee status was "CK" not "PC" We went back and ran the pre-check register and the generation advanced again. We had backed payroll up on floppy each time generation advanced.

When trying to do the next weeks payroll, hours were entered, "Time Card Entry Report Printed", exceptions were entered, but when trying to print the "Hour Earnings Report" we recieved the following message. "No Eligible Employees found"

Figuring our glich from the previous week, we restored back two generations. Upon trying to reconstruct from there we recieved the same message, "No Eligible Employees Found"

Count back the generations to your last good payroll. Go into PR options and change the generation to that generation number. At that point you will be at the point right before you run post current period. Go ahead and run post current period. That will close you into clean files. Enter the problem payroll as usual (printing the checks on plain paper) and posting the period. That should clean everything up.

Keep in mind that you will receive the error message "danger this routine will rease....." this is because those generations already exist choose to overwrite and go ahead with the close.
