Looking at old data [Archive]

How does one retrieve old data and view these records? I want to look at a vendor's ledger that precedes the 24 period limit. This isn't possible in the version that I currently use (v4.0 batch 6), which I know is not the latest version. Any help would be appreciated.

The only way to see old data is to restore a backup of that time, view/print the reports, then restore the current backup to get back to current data.

If you haven't purged, you can export the old transactions to Excel. Also, if the report allows you to enter dates (instead of choosing periods), you may be able to choose a bigger range of periods. Again, this is predicated on you having not purged the data.
