Has anyone ever experienced this problem. For some reason, I really don't know how this happened, but when I print out my invoices, the first line in the sales order is not printing, although the price is showing up in the totals at the bottom of the invoice. I'm assuming there's something wrong with the template. So what I've been doing is typing an item on the first line and putting $0.00 as the charge, seeing that this line isn't showing up on the invoices anyway. Then I put all the other charges on the 2nd and 3rd lines and so forth. Can anyone help me on this!
Thanks

Are you working with a Peachtree standard form or one that you customized?

It's a customized form. I actually spent a 1/2 hour on the phone with a tech and he couldn't help me out. It was a real waste of money.

Unfortunately, Peachtree tech support knows nothing about customizing forms. They are great in all other aspects of the program, but defintely NOT customizing forms.

I have not encountered the problem you are having, but had a similar problem and discovered that if I modified the area on the invoice where the group objects qty, item #, descrition and price appear, I ran into problems with the printing. I believe it is a software bug. If you try to increase the column widths too much in this area or make too radical a change in this area it seems to foul up the printing.

I solved the problem by trial and error. The best suggestion I can offer is to redo the form again and pay close attention to the modifications you make and what the settings were prior. Do a little at a time, then check the printing. If you get to a point where you are losing the top line again, you will know you have modified too far and can set the parameters back to the prior point that it last printed correctly at.

I know it is tedious, but that should solve your problem.

Good luck,
Jan
