I am trying to install V11 on a new computer running in Windows XP and keep getting system error 67 ( too many files). I have tried increasing the files in config.sys but it does not help. Is it possible to run V11 in Windows XP? What is the most recent version of Peachtree for Dos? Will it run in Windows XP?

Follow up: I think I found answer in forum referring to Peachtree
Knowledge Center.

You are right... in the answer appears in the knowledge center.

In any case this is the file you should modify:

As you might have guessed Win2k doesn't use read config.sys nor autoexec.bat (directly... in any case).

If this your first Win2k installation you should read some of the old posts about the other settings/enviromental variables that you have to include in order to run it correctly.

Hope this helps,

I did find the solution in Peachtree Knowledge center. I also had to add the following variables:

The Peachtree Users Forum is a GREAT resource tool. I expect to use it many more times since I have several clients running different versions of Peachtree.
