We jsut switched to Peachtree Complete 2003 and I am looking for a way for the software to automatically calculate the split of expenses when we need it to go to 3 different divisons - therefore it would need to go to 3 different general ledger account numbers. Can this be done? If so , how?

You can split this out in either Payments, apply to expenses or purchases. To automate it, if it is the same amount and or items each time you can make it a recurring entry. If it is something you may receieve from different vendors you could enter it is a memorized transaction. Check your help files for recurring and memorized and it should have some good step-by-step instructions.

If the amounts vary, one option is to set up an Excel spreadsheet to perform the calculations and create an importable file for Peachtree. If you're not familiar with Peachtree's import/export capabilities, this project can be outsourced.
