Setting up new system

I bought a new PC and want to get My peachtree data on the new system, does anyone know the best way to do this? Should I copy over files, do a import export?

Use the Backup option on the File menu to create a backup of your data on removable media.

On the new machine, in Peachtree choose File, New, and create a new company. It doesn't matter what you enter, just walk through the wizard to the end.

With the new company open, choose the Restore option on the File menu to restore your old company onto the new computer.

I back up the data file onto a CD through a CD creator program. I then copy the data on CD and paste it to the data file in Peachtree. Highlight all - select properties - make sure Read Only is unchecked and apply. Open Peachtree as usual and the new data is there.
