I cannot start peachtree. Error message: "Max Communication Buffer Size parameter of 16384 is < 64512. Please correct and restart. My operating system is WIN2K server. I am using peachtree complete accouting 2002. Can someone help me please?

From the Peachtree Knowledge Center:

This error can occur if you have ever installed another program that uses Btrieve, and that program sets the Max Communication Buffer lower than Peachtree's required minimum value.

To correct this, you will need to download and install the "Peachtree Release 7.0 registry update" file. To download this file go to http://www.peachtree.com/html/updates_available.cfm

Users of Version 8 of Peachtree Accounting, Peachtree First Accounting or Peachtree Complete Accounting (Windows version) should use this update file as well.
