View Full Version : IQ and A/R conversion Probem ver 11 -> 13

After converting from PT Complete Classic Ver 11 to Version 13 my A/R is not being reported correctly to IQ Report Writer. All of the other modules SEEM to have converted correctly. If I run the reports that came with IQ from inside A/R they appear to work correctly, however If I attempt to run any reports straight from IQ it is always pulling a telephone number when I am trying to get the Customer name. Is anyone else having this problem... or can anyone tell me how to correct it???..... HELP!!!!! Please :-)

Many thanks.... I looked for fixes/patches on the Peach Site but could not find them.... Most recently I have been on the PeachTree site and cannot even get into their knowledge base. I have tried for over an hour.... other parts of the site work... but not the knowledge base. Does anyone the ariqfix they can e-mail me can you mail me the link to the download?????? if so.... my e-mail address is rcco@bellsouth.net.

I used the ARIQFIX for a GPF problem in IQ. It's just a batch file and it's contents can be found on this forum by searching for ARIQFIX. It simply makes copies of some existing files, renames them, deletes the original, and then renames the copied files back to the original file name (to fix a 8.3 filename issue I believe). So I don't think it will have any affect on your problem, but I can't say for sure.

As always, backup before applying.

It appears to work.... Thanks for the post..... You would think that Peach, knowing there is a problem with their AR conversion, would have the patch available for download on their website.... I guess this is just another way for them to gouge their customer base.

I was able to use the ARIQFIX posted by chrismc, (Chris, thanks very much for the post.), therefore the contacting of PeachTree for the fix was unnecessary. However, you would think that if you were to do a search on Peachtree's site for ARIQFIX it would find it.... and allow for a download of the patch, since Peachtree KNOWS it is an issue. Yet, a search of their site turns up nothing. Since you cannot talk to their tech support without either a credit card or a prepaid "tech support" contract I simply see this as Peachtrees way for "Charging" for the "fixing" of a product that had bugs. I know that bugs cannot be avoided in programs but surely they can create a FTP server for the downloading of these types of patches "fixes as they call them". I am neither a novice to PT or to computers with my experience in using/supporting their product going back to PT Ver 2 in the late 80s. I could have understood this then in the world of bulletin boards and dial-up modems, but now when vendors are using the net to assist their users, I don't see Peach even attempting to do so, the reason for my comment. How many of you have the most recent "batch" for PT or can even tell me what it is? Why can't they post these "patches and batches" for download? Ok, enough for now... I have vented... This is my last post on this issue.

I just got 13.02 today after a big fight with PT last week so I believe it's the latest. It's supposed to fix the Inventory import issue I reported on this forum as well as some other tax issues.

I find it interesting that we can't download patches/updates for PT Classic like you can with other versions of PT here: http://www.peachtree.com/html/updates_available.cfm

I mentioned this to the PT manager that I spoke with today. Please note that the v13.02 that I received is not a patch, it's a full install version of 13.02 (so, there might not be a 'patch')
