Hi,
I have peachtree complete accounting 2002 installed on my network here at work. Our accounting database is located on a shared drive on our network (along with the peachtree app itself of course). This afternoon I went to add a client and when I was done peachtree was unusable. I went ahead and rebooted my file server and everything worked fine but when I tried to go into Fixed Assets I got a message that the Fixed Assets Falimit.dat file was missing.
For some reason when I tried to install the client it seems to have really messed something up. I think that it has something to do with the data path but I'm not sure how to fix it since nothing has changed on the clients.
Our peachtree is located on our server under: \\servername\shared\peachw. Do I need to re-install the clients or can I just change the datapath on the local machines as is? Am I completely off the mark here?
Thanks in advance!!
John
