I'm new to Peachtree, but not new to business applications and programming. My company uses the "Assembly Item List" report in Peachtree Classic v12.5. They want to add the "Location" column to the report or replace the "EXT. COST" column with "Location". Peachtree support told me that I can't customize that report, but that I can create a new report using Peachtree Data Query. They said v12 should have come with a seperate manual for this. I found the Peachtree box with three manuals in it, but not one for PDQ. Did yours come with a seperate manual for PDQ? And, do you know of any references to point me to for examples/instructions? Thanks!

My Peachtree Classic v12 did not come with a PDQ manual, although I have a manual from v11.
Your best bet is to to edit the existing Assembly Items Report under the Inventory Assembly view. There is already a "Location" column on this report.
You may want to order the manual for a $25 fee if it is still available.

Thanks for the reply. Peachtree Support did say that PDQ had not changed in v12 from previous versions. So the v11 manual for PDQ would be fine. Unfortunately, I don't have any PDQ manuals. I have contacted Peachtree regarding purchasing this manual, but I'm waiting for the reply. You mention editing a report. Peachtree Support told me that in v12, you cannot edit reports--you have to create entirely new ones if you want customization.

Peachtree Support told me the only option they offer is to sell the complete manual set for $50. Surely a user out there has upgraded and no longer needs their old PDQ manual. But how to find them...I wonder.... By the way..if anyone is a PDQ guru, I'd be glad to pay for a jump start in how to create reports. Thanks!
