Help! Updates made Peachtree unaccessable

I recently updated to Windows 2000 and cannot backup Peachtree at all. I went online and tried to update Peachtree Complete 8.0 and now cannot access Peachtree at all. It insists that a backup be done to convert files but I cannot backup and I cannot get past this point. Can an update be uninstalled and if so how?

What is the exact error message you get? Are you signed on to win2000 with admin rights to that computer (not necessarily the domain)?

Yes I am logged on as Administrator. The message I get is:
Cannot Perform Backup. Unable to load C:\PEACHW\dzip32.dll

That is a dynazip file that Peachtree uses when it makes the compressed backup. Have you tried renaming the file with a .old extension and then reinstall Peachtree? It may be that the .dll is damaged or not registered properly.
