View Full Version : restore computer
I've recently lived through a hard drive crash and had to restore my computer back to factory settings (with my restore cd) on a brand-new hard drive. Reloaded Peachtree from my original CD (version 4). Here's the problem...I had (later) upgraded to Peactree ver 7.03 from the web site - the exe. file for this upgrade is an another CD (a CD that contains a copy of all my files that's several months old). When I lauch the exe. file for the upgrade it tells me there is nothing to upgrade! Has anyone ever had to restore an older version with an upgrade that won't take?

Version 7.03 was a patch, not full product. It is looking for Version 7.01 or 7.02 and can't find it, since you only have version 4 installed.
Call 800-336-1420 and ask for a replacement CD for Version 7. They will send you version 7.04, the latest, and full product. There will be a small fee involved if you provide your version 7 serial number.
