Has anyone migrated successfully from Quicken 2001
Home and business, to Peachtree Ver 7 or ver 2002?

The manual gives details: however???
need any unseen pitfalls and advice
Any good consultants out there who will do it for
a reasonable fee?

I tried several times converting from Quickbooks to PTCA 9 but without much success. I am going to start from scratch, that will allow a cleaner start at the beginning of the year hopefully.

What I would like to do is import just my customer and vendor records. Is there a way to just import into PTCA those records and not the entire company?

I've converted clients from QuickBooks to Peachtree, and vice versa. As with any package that allows importing, there are a number of undocumented tricks one generally learns through trial and error, and major perseverence.

With that said, if you're looking to import into Peachtree, a good idea is to export what you want to import from the sample company, and look at the resulting file in Excel. Copy and paste your data into the same format, and you should be off and running. Be sure to choose the Include Headings option.

If you're looking to outsource, contact any of the senior members in this forum...we've all been at this for years now.
