Memorized Transactions/Payments

When I use a Memorized Payment, the remit to address does not print on my checks, which means I then have to address an envelope. This did not happen before I upgraded to V2002. It's not a big deal, but it's definitely not an enhancement.

I tested the memorized payment transaction with a new remit to address. When I selected to use the memorized transaction, the new remit to address was displayed and printed on the check.

There has been an update to version 9, be sure you have the latest batch. Go to Help, About Peachtree Accounting. Under "Release", you should have 9.0.01.027.

If you have this release number, then there may be something wrong procedurally.

I do have the batch that you mentioned, so that's not it. So here's my procedure: Under Maintain, go to Memorized Transactions, then Payments. Then I pull up one of my saved transactions and then click on Select. This takes me to the Payments screen. All of the information is displayed (Payee, Qty, GL Acct, $$ amount) except for the remit to address. What am I doing wrong?

On the memorized transaction, does the correct remit to address display?

Yes, it displays correctly on the Memorized Transaction screen, but the address is gone on the Payments screen. This worked fine before I upgraded!

1. Try creating memorized "payment" transaction in the sample company and using it.

2. What kind of printer are you using?

I tried what you said using the sample company, and it didn't work there either. But I think I figured it out--the address only prints when a memorized payment uses a vendor that is set up on the master vendor list. Some of my memorized transactions do not use an establised vendor with a vendor ID, and those are the ones that don't print. On these transactions, the Payee is listed and the address is directly below. But once I select it as a Payment, the address disappears. Like I said, this worked fine before I upgraded. Thanks for your help, anyway.
