multi user to single user status

Hello, I have Peachtree Complete 2003 mulituser edition. It has worked well for me until I recently moved my office to home. Now I would like to set up my A/R clerk (who is still at work) w/ a stand alone edition, instead of multi-user, because of the problems w/ VPN and Peachtree. I was thinking she could just chug along doing her normal job and then 1 time a week I could export the A/R stuff and update it on my end. Is this something that could work? Any better ideas out there? Would I have to reinstall PT on her computer and then just direct all program and data files onto her computer and then import the current company info on her machine? Thanks for any help!

Synching two versions of any accounting package is a nightmare. Instead, have your A/R clerk do her job through one of these avenues: Peachtree Web Accounting, GoToMyPC, or pcAnywhere. The first two involve on-going monthly fees, the third is a one time purchase.
