Does anyone know if you try to do a backup of Peachtree on a server in a Workgroup Env. could it cause problems if there was an error on the backup and the tape wasn't change for serveral days after the error occured? Could this cause printing problems also?

Making a backup to your server is not a problem. If there was an error backing up, it should be addressed. It could be it couldn't backup because it couldn't read the data file and there may be a problem in the data.

Errors in your backup do not cause printing problems. Printing problems are due to incompatible printer drivers, not enough system resources, errors in the data.

Is there a utility within Peachtree for maintenance on your Data?

In version 2002, there is a utility called, Data Verification under the File Menu.

In all other versions and releases and also in version 2002, there is the Integrity Check. It is also found under the File Menu after you load it. You should only run the integrity check tests when instructed by a technician. Not all tests should be run. Tests should be run in a particular order, etc.
