peachtree database

I have never used peachtree. I am a software professional who does data conversion, integration, modeling, development, and also custom software and web applications.

If anyone can tell me what database system ( btrieve, foxpro, access, or any other) does peachtree accounting software uses for maintaining the data.

this is urgent.

All versions of Peachtree (Complete) Accounting for Windows use Btrieve 6.15, which is obsolete. If you want direct access to the data through a COM (Active-X) interface you can use PawCom. (See the link on Peachtreeusers home page.)

How about Peachtree 2004. Are they changing their database from Betrieve 6.15 to other database.

No. 2004 still uses Btrieve as before.
