We just upgraded to Ver 2002 and are on a network with multiusers.

Problem:

Error message pops up when users try to access company. However there are already two or three users already in the Peachtree company.

Error message:

"Unable to determine security privileges. Please retry later. This is probably due to another user temporarily blocking access to critical files."


Peachtree technical support says that we have a corrupted database.

It seems that users can get on early in the a.m. but if you close Peachtree you can't access the company again unless everyone gets out.

Did not have this problem with Ver 8.0 which we upgraded from.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Yes, it is indicative of corrupted data. It is repairable.

The best way is to backup frequently. If you call peachtree Technical. They will advise you to restore your last backup. Or call for help (Charges US350.00).

Don't know whether the latest version 2003. Have this kind of problem or not?
