PCA downgrade to PAW

In a mix up a couple of years ago I upgraded from PAW to PCA. I don't need any of PCA's addtional features. I've tried "upgrading" to a newer version of PAW but it the install fails. Has anyone successfully done this and if so how?

I'd like to go back to the cheaper version.

1. You need a conversion disk to convert your data from pca to pcw. If you have a conversion disk, then the data needs to be looked at.

2. If you're merely, trying to install the software, (and not converting, yet), then try installing by going to Start, Run
Type in the cd rom drive letter, i.e., D:\ and then setup.exe

Can I get a conversion disk from Peachtree? How reliable is the conversion?
I use Peachtree for AR only. Is there a particular area where the conversion can cause problems?

To get a conversion disk, call Peachtree at 800-336-1420 (upgrade sales dept.).

You will need to activate General Ledger before you can convert the files to Peachtree Complete Accounting for Windows.

Your conversion disk should come with a conversion booklet that has specific step by step instructions.

Did you call Peachtree and how much was the conversion disk or was there a charge?
