Hello all,
I see that the new 2002 version has the new 1099 form that is 2 per page vs. the previous 3 per page. We are using version 8 now. Is it possible to download just the new 1099 form for use with our current version? Also, is it possible to update any/all forms to newer versions? Where are updates found? I appreciate all responses, being an "obvious" rookie!
Thanks in advance!!!!!

I found this question in a search.
There were no replies however.

I am facing the same dilema. We are using V7r3.
Can someone share with me an answer?

thanks

I just talked to Peachtree Sales, and they said that you have to subscribe to the Payroll Tax Service in order to get the correct format (2 per page). All we use are 1099-misc, but we will still have to get the service. To answer your next question, $150.

It is quite simple to change the existing 1099 form and call it 1099-2001 and save it as a custom form. Just select the appropriate data field and move it around and test it on plain paper and hold it against a blank form so see if the fileds aliagn. and ave if as a new form.

You can do the same thing with W-2's. You must put first and last name in the custom fields in the employee record. and use the custom fields when you create the form.
