tracking lot #'s

Does anybody know if Peachtree is capable of tracking lot #'s? We have to track lot #'s for many items that we sell. We would need the capability of printing the lot # on packing slips and invoices. Also, we need to be able to track all customers that recieve items from a particular lot #. Any ideas?

Unfortuantely, peachtree only allows top level tracking (that is by Item ID), it won't track serialized inventory or anything resembling a Lot #.

You "could" make each Lot # a JOB. Then you could assign sales of inventory items to a Job (Lot#) at the time an invoice was created.
