AP check printing

Using Classic v12, we had to reinstall the OS (NT Workstation 4.0)on the machine and can no longer print checks. Using an Epson LQ-570e ESC/2 printer with the default driver any print run of more than two checks prints on every other check. I'm assuming it's a printer driver problem, but what driver should we be using? I've seen some reference to similar problems on the forums, but no definite solutions. Any ideas?

v12 had some serious dot matrix printer issues. There were some dot matrix printers that simply would not work. Serch this forum and see what you can find. I vaguely remember posting some things about the 570e
