PO Numbers

How do you prevent the system from creating duplicate Purchase order numbers when you go into a new month. We need the numbers to be unique regardless of month, or vendor.

I have had the same problem of duplicating PO #s. It only occurs periodically, maybe 2-3 months out of the year, but once it occurs in a month, it continues until the next month.
