One of the big reasons I wanted to install 2004 was the ability to drill down on Financial statements

At first, drill down worked just fine. Now, all of a sudden, drill down won't work on ANY financial statement whether standard or custom! This includes the sample company as well as our regular company.

The blue box appears around the number on the report on screen, the cursor turns to a spyglass, but nothing happens.

This happened after I made a lot of new custom statements.

What could have caused this?

Since this is a problem you are having regarding a new release, I would suggest that you contact Peachtree in the event that it is a known issue.

thanks for the reply.

The situation was solved when we uninstalled the workstations and reinstalled using the network option The first install, the custom option was used, which may have caused the problem. It also cured our standard reports not showing up.

I noticed that just doing a reinstall doesn't change the ini file in the Windows directery. Uninstalling will erase the ini file and all if its initialization settings.
