I recently networked my four home office computers through CAT cables
in the walls and connected to Comcast cable internet. I want to be
able to access PT on another computer from where it is installed and
normally used. I would not be accessing it at the same time as the
other computer, just want to be able to basically look things up
without moving across the room. The computer with PT installed is
running Windows ME and the computer on my desk, which I want to use to
access PT info, is running Win2000Pro. I can view all the other
programs and files on the ME computer from my computer, but when I try
to access PT, I get the error I used as my subject line. Any and all
suggestions are appreciated. I am using PT Complete Accounting 2004.
Is this impossible without getting multi license? I thoughth that was just for accessing PT on multiple computers at the same time. Would it work if I put PT on the Win2000 machine as the primary, and accessed it from the ME machine?
