We plan on migrating to accrual in 2002.
1) If we do, how do we change over from cash to accrual and transfer the balances?
2) We anticipate beginning wholesale section to our business. A wholesale partner will be selling our product but we will be invoicing the customers as A3TCO and we want to keep the wholesale end of it separate (prior experience folks has taught us this is best). We see this as two businesses named a3tco and say a3tco-b.
a) How do we get the invoices print our business name a3tco on them when they would be in the a3tco-b wholesale end of the company. We assume that the name of the company is tied to the invoice in some way and there is not way to change that.

Thanking you and have a great week. TMT

First: You cannot change from cash to accrual without creating a new company and starting over. You can use the import and export feature to bring over other information, but it's a little tricky when exporting and importing the actual transactions.

Second: While the Invoice information is by default tied to the company name, you can change the invoice form and tell it not to use the company information fields, but instead create a text block with the information you want displayed instead.

If you want assistance with that, email me at dkoers@home.com and we can discuss your options.
