PT2003 and Novell

I have a client w/ PT2003 and Novell 5.1 with Novell client 3.32. Some PC's have Win 98 and some W2K. On the W98 PC's sometimes it doesn't drop the W32MKDE file...while other times it does. This is happening when using the normal PT shutdown (no crash).


The network support person has checked the settings against PT's recommendations. Changed 8 client settings, all having to do with the way files are handled and committed back to the disk (buffering etc)...and all to no avail. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and what can be done to remedy the problem?

The novell is the best. You need to lock down the data before sending it and the drivers should all be the same version. I hope this helps
