I do the books for my church. Is there anyway to establish sub-accounts within the main checking account number. We need to keep running balances on a few special funds however the transactions (income/expenses) are all going thru one checking account. I already have my income and expense accounts numbers set up by using departments. However if I carry this concept over in Assets, I would have different account numbers set up for each fund but when I go to reconcile the bank statement for the checking account I would have transactions in more than one account number on my books, and it would be difficult to reconcile. I would appreciate anyone who might have a solution to this problem.
