Impoort with customized templete

Morning, folks,
This is the problem I met. When I want to import Employee list data to Peachtree by using my customized templete, I have to manually input Employee ID first into Employee List and then do the import, othervise, I will meet error. However, for Customer or Vendor list, I can use my customized templete without any problem. What's wrong? Do I miss anything?

The problem with importing data is sometimes Peachtree will report an error with one field, when the problem is actually with another. There's no practical reason why you're having to manually create the ID first...scrutinize your import settings, and compare your file to an export from one of the sample companies.
