"Unable to determine security previleges. Please retry later. This is probably due to another user temporarily blocking access to critical areas." Please, somebody, how can I solve this problem?

If you're networked, make sure everyone quit Peachtree. If still not work, try to reboot every machine. Then do it again.

There is a corrupted file in the company database. We have the same problem.
In the morning everyone on the network can get on. But if you get out of the company and try to get back in.........error message!
We only encountered this problem after converting from Ver 8 to 2002.
Any luck or ideas?

If you're sure database is corrupted, sorry, even Peachtree will tell you restore a backup copy.
How can you know your database is corrupted? Have you checked the errorlog.txt under peachtree's install directory? Any interesting observations?

Once everyone is out of ptree, delete all *.lck files.

Sub directory did not have .lck files.
What I did was to set up users/passwords for everyone.
PROBLEM SOLVED.

Checked each of the subfolders and each one has the .lck files. Any other ideas?

Despite the previous posts, this error actually means that your Peachtree company has been damaged and needs to be repaired. Click the Data Damaged banner at the top left of your screen.

On what screen do you find the datd damaged banner? We've been down all day, because of the security message. System worked fine yesterday.
