After the paychecks have been printed. Is there a report or is there a way to print the check on plain paper the exact same identical way that it comes out on the pay stub? We had an employee who needed a copy of her stub and we could not reproduce.

Just pull up the paycheck on the screen and hit print

It will let you do it for some payrolls. On other payrolls it tells me that it cannot be posted because it is out of balance. Then it will not let you print any paychecks from that run.

It is possible to get an "out of balance"
message when reprinting and/or reposting
a prior payroll check.

This will definitely happen if you are reprinting
a payroll check for an hourly employee whose
hourly rate is now different than when the prior
check was generated. The fix ... temporarily
change that employee's hourly rate to what
it was on the date the check was generated.
Then after reprinting or reposting the check,
go back and change the rate back to what it
should be today.
