Global Search for Invoice??

Hello All,
Is there a way to do Global search of ALL companies for an invoice number, check number, etc?

No not that I know of.

As a matter of fact we needed to have a report that took each sales order and gave us the corresponding invoices for eachsales order. No report for that project. I can't believe peachtree does not give you that ability. We wanted to have this ability in order to trace back to all invoices associated with a particular sales order. so I sat down at Crystal and wrote my own darn report and guess what it works. Now I can enter a sales order number and it will show me every single invoice that is associated with that salees order. I can run it by selecting only one sales order or have it run the entire data file and list every sales order and show every single invoice associated with each and every sales order we have generated.

If you use Crystal you would be able to create a report that would give you your answer. But it's not that easy!

Have you tried using "Find Transactions" under Edit?
Or key in Ctrl + F.
This should do every thing your asking to do.

As Marka vagely stated,Crystal reports will give you the ability to consolidate companies.That give you the ability to create a Master Check Register Report for all companies, a Master Invoice Register for all companies as well as any other type of tracking you need.
